A Chicago Tribune reporter who is working on a possible story on “attacks” by red-winged blackbirds has contacted me to ask whether bike riders are experiencing a greater than usual incidence of being molested by those pesky birds this year. He has collected some anecdotal information so far that this may be the case.
If anyone has a personal story to share on this subject (regardless of whether or not the encounter happened on a bike), please let me know by tomorrow (Friday).
