The Cafe offers American fare in the casual setting of a 1907 landmark boathouse. We'll briefly view some of the landmark buildings and statuary. Food stop at the Cafe with a gorgeous view of the lagoon.

On the trip down we will also view the Chicago marker on North Humboldt Blvd where L. Frank Baum lived when he wrote his classic "Wizard of Oz," (thanks to Jay Kuchinsky for this bit of info): and a marker at on N. Sacramento which was a residence of Jens Jensen, landscape designer.
This will be at the slow end of moderate as it is a city route. If you are unable to ride with us (but please do consider it) then meet us at the Cafe at 10:15 10:30 or so. Round trip about 27 miles. Service at the Cafe can be slow so I expect to be back probably between 1:30-2-30 also depending on how much touring we do.
My cell phone for the day is: 773-848-3008 Texting is best.
