Ravinia Metra Station doors locked
Author Last Post

Hi Joanne,

Access to (and cleaning of) the station's depot building is controlled not by Metra, but by the municipality's facilities mgmt. dept. - in this case, of the Village of Highland Park.  (This is true for almost all Metra stations, except for those within the City of Chicago.  I happen to know this because I worked for Metra for 26 years, and was often involved with station issues.)

Hi All,
On a Sunday ride May 27 the group stopped at the Ravinia Station for the usual break and all the doors were locked. No signs or notifications listed.  Anyone have any ideas what is/was going on.?
