The Wilmette Park District, in partnership with the Village of Wilmette and City of Evanston, is evaluating the feasibility for a potential future trail between the existing bike lanes on Sheridan Road in Wilmette (near the Bahai Temple) to the existing multi use path along the North Shore Channel at Green Bay Road (near the Evanston Skate Park). The intent is to provide continuous bike and pedestrian access filling the approximate 1.5 mile gap.
A survey is available which has questions and a very clever interactive map showing a couple of possible routes and allowing for comments on details of the route.
