Tuesday Moderate Ride – October 22nd – 9:00 AM – Panera
As promised, we will attempt again this week to ride to Ryerson Woods. This ride used to include a short hike, but of late we have chosen to keep our cycling cleats clean. Instead, we look across the open field for fall color in the surrounding woods and then take a look around the Brushwood Center, before heading to Greek Feast for lunch.

I have updated the route, so if you pinned, uploaded, or printed the route last week, you’ll have to do it again to have the UpToDate route. Our total distance will be a tad more than 39 miles. I will ride at a moderate (13 to 15 mph) pace. With enough interest there will be a second slightly faster group led by Will.
The weather forecast for this week is substantially better than last week: Mixed sunshine and clouds. A high temperature of 74 degrees with winds from the SSW at 10 to 20 mph. If the weather should be vastly different from this forecast making it prudent to cancel the ride, I will post an announcement to the Listserv by 7:30 AM.
