The Wilmette Park District has released concept plans for a trail along the North Shore Channel between Green Bay Road and Sheridan Road. There is also a survey asking preferences in regard to the alternative
plans presented. The plans contain maps with some very interesting ideas. Following is the info from the Wilmette Park District.

The Wilmette Park District is conducting a planning effort to explore a new trail connection between Sheridan Road (Wilmette) and Green Bay Road (Evanston).
Thank you to all who participated in the community feedback survey and focus group meetings. Based on public feedback, trail concepts are available for public review and input.
