Apparently, not all of the information appeared in the email I sent out earlier about the Out Our Front Door event.  Hopefully this will correct things.

Volunteer email:
Hello adaptive program veteran volunteers,

It's been much too long since we've ridden together!  Miles, Glen and I have been hard at work during the "off season", and this year is definitely shaping up to be the biggest and most impactful season of adaptive cycling and bike camping so far.  We have new partnerships and rides with the National organization Autism Speaks as well as a big adaptive sports event with Cook County Forest Preserves. We also have returning partner rides with the awesome Keen Chicago, LADSE schools and Northside Learning Center, with at least one new partner and ride currently in the works. Also, with the help of new Adult program liaisons Rich and Ryan, we are expanding participation for riders with disabilities on our adult overnight rides.

We couldn't do any of this without YOU!  Volunteer sign up is now live, and you can put your name down here on the adaptive tab for any dates that will or might work for you.  We'll also be seeking adaptive guides for our 6 family overnights to support kids with disabilities and their families.

Finally, our volunteer training date and location has just been finalized: Saturday March 29th at Big Marsh Park, with an option to camp overnight! See flier below.  We'll have adaptive program specific trainings and opportunities to learn to ride or refresh your skills on our amazing tandems. Please share this info with others who might be interested, and feel free to reach out to me with any questions!

We can't wait to get back to what we love: sharing our passion for cycling, exploration and immersion in nature with the disability community!
