Temps will be 85-ish, winds brisk from southwest-ish, but according to my radar thunderstorms will slip to our south (over Chicago) and skies will remain partly sunny in Highland Park.

We'll take Sheridan Road north, and return as early as possible via the Green Bay Trail so that we're more protected from the wind. Bring sunscreen and plenty of water - see you at Chandler at 9am!

TeaLula's is closed for remodeling, so let's celebrate the UK's National Cream Tea Day on Friday, 27 June with a "sweet" casual ride to Highland Park. There we can celebrate over lunch at Madame Zuzu's tea parlor (if scones with vegan clotted cream & jam aren't your thing, there's OUAB a couple doors away).

If there's interest & time we could check out Love That Spice (&Tea: https://www.lovethatspice.com/), where you can blend your own "wellness" tea to take home, or just enjoy the spicy smells.

Leaving 9am from Chandler Center - if the summer camp crew is too crowded around the entrance, we'll meet further north, closer to the American Legion.
