Since someone asked . . .  The NSC routes for the current year are usually posted just prior to the Preview rides -- this year on 9/14. So probably available in the 9/10-11 time frame. The routes may or may not be marked by the date of the Preview rides; it is not a requirement. Peter Glaser is our route master this year and I do the Event creation and flip the switch in RWGPS to public viewing. All the routes now exist in RWGPS but we always want to be careful about last minute "surprises" (e.g. construction, events, floods). Since there is a new start/end this year (Gillson Park in Wilmette) and a new route master, all the routes needed to be reviewed, updated and tested. (Note: the Rest Stops remain the same.) Input from those on the Preview rides then becomes the final "edit" before we give access to NSC registrants. The delay in publicly posting is primarily due to a concern about version control since a LOT of people need to be singing from the same song sheet. We will always update the route version in the RWGPS Library/Event as quickly as possible but some may have downloaded or printed a previous version.
