Tuesday Moderate Ride – February 10th – 10:00 AM – Panera
Tuesday looks like a good day for a winter ride. The temperature should be up to 39 degrees by 10 AM, and could be as high as 41 degrees before the ride ends. The wind will be out of the NW at 10 to 15 mph with mixed sunshine and clouds. There is only an 8% chance of anything wet falling from the sky.
I am planning a 10 AM start for a ride to an old favorite – Omega Restaurant in Niles – by way of Norwood Park. Here from my own library is a link to the all-street route that I will be using: Omega Resturant by way of Norwood Park · Ride with GPS. Our total distance will be around 28 miles. I will ride at a moderate (13 – 15 mph) pace.
If the actual weather is vastly different from the forecast making it prudent to cancel the ride, I will post an announcement to the listserv by 8:30 AM.
