Tuesday Moderate Ride – April 21st – 9:00 AM – Panera
This week we are scheduled to ride through Riverwoods with a lunch stop at Greek Feast. This route is remarkably similar to the route I have used several times during the off season to go to Greek Feast. The key difference is that it is 3-miles longer to allow for an excursion through a couple of Riverwoods’ wooded subdivisions. Our total distance will be about 40-miles. With enough interest there Will be a second group traveling at a slightly faster pace.
Tuesday’s weather is promising: partly cloudy with a ride time temperature range of 56 to 71 degrees. The wind will be out of the SW at 10 to 20 mph. The forecast says there is a slight chance of an afternoon shower, but the hourly forecast does not put the chance of rain higher than 15%.
If the weather should be vastly different from the forecast making it prudent to cancel or modify the ride, I will post an announcement to the listserv by 7:30 on the morning of the ride.
