A parent-led Bike Bus to Highcrest in Wilmette is looking for experienced riders and volunteers. The first ride is Wednesday, May 13. Students will meet at Maple Park and ride together to Highcrest in one supervised group, supported by adult Safety Marshals. The goal is to help students build safe biking habits, reduce car line congestion, and make biking to school feel easier and more normal in Wilmette. Details for the first ride: Wednesday, May 13 Meet: 7:50 AM Depart: 8:00 AM Arrive at Highcrest: around 8:20 AM Meeting Point: Southwest corner of Maple Park, 398 Maple Ave Helmets required They are looking for adult volunteers who can ride with the group as Safety Marshals. No special role is required, just experienced, steady riders who can help keep the group visible and organized.
