Interesting presentation on new cars that share the road with us:

Connor has a lot of depressing info in that video.

One point he makes, that gets hidden, is the amount of size creep in the same model.  The first Toyota Corollas (1966) weighed about 1550 lb. The 2026 weight is about 2955 lb — nearly twice as heavy for a model that has been consistently positioned as an entry level vehicle.

The width increased from 58.5 inches to 70.1 inches — a full foot wider.

It is not just the larger size of vehicle. It is an inability for many drivers to see all four corners and how much space they actually take up. I have seen many scratches dings and dents on so many sides and mirrors. It is also the fast speed and sense of invincibility many exhibit. I have had numerous close calls. Truly it has become a video game out there...... So  Be Careful 🤞🙏
