Tuesday Moderate Ride – May 19th – Panera – 9:00 AM
This week we are scheduled to take a scenic route through Lake Forest and Lake Bluff to a favorite EBC lunch stop – Bluffington’s in Lake Bluff. This year’s route has been slightly altered because of construction on Lake Road in Lake Forest. There will none-the-less still be numerous sightings of over-the-top mansions. Here is a link to the route I will be using: LakeBluff 2026 · Ride with GPS. Our total distance will be about 40 miles. I will ride at a moderate (13 – 15 mph) pace. With enough interest we can have a second slightly faster group.
The forecast for Tuesday has changed multiple times this afternoon. At present over cast skies with winds out of the WSW at 15 to 25 mph are expected. The high temperature will be 78 degrees. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible, but no rain is showing in the hourly forecast during our likely ride time. If the weather should take a turn for the worse making it prudent to cancel the ride, I will post an announcement to the listserv by 7:30 AM the morning of the ride.
