I plan on leading a Fast / Fast + group for this Saturday 5/23 for a Show and Go ride that is an alternative to the Century ride.
Destination: Picnic Basket in Libertyville (about 51 miles round trip)
Time: 9AM
Pace: Fast or Fast +, depending on the majority of riders’ preference (cruising ~ 17 mph)

We will start from Wilmette Panera, head north on Green Bay Rd then Bunny Trail, turn west on Old Elm, and 1st rest stop at Lake Forest Metra Station. Lunch stop at Picnic Basket at Libertyville (mile 24). Head back via St. Mary / Everett / Riverwoods to Village Green in Northbrook for a rest stop, then return to Panera.
Weather forecast: mostly cloudy with temperatures in the 50s, small chance of rain, so dress warm. I will post by 7:30 AM if weather becomes unfavorable.
