This Thursday's weather looks sketchy, especially on our way back from the scheduled ride to the Cherry Pit in Deerfield.
--If the forecast improves and chances are we won't get wet on the ride, I'll stick to the current schedule of going to the Cherry Pit. Approximately 33 miles (a bit longer than the usual casual ride).
--If the current crummy forecast for Thursday holds, I will shorten the ride, probably going to the Botanic Garden (or elsewhere) and back, with a possible dining stop in Wilmette, weather permitting. Round trip about 20 miles.
--If the weather forecast worsens and looks really bad, all bets are off and the ride will be cancelled.
I'll update things Thursday morning by 7:30. Stay tuned.
