Description: Jens Jensen was a pre-eminent landscape architect whose influence is still visible on the North Shore. We’ll stop at 6 sites he designed plus his summer house and studio, and learn about his design principles. Sites range from Evanston to Ravinia. Mid-ride we’ll hydrate at Ravinia’s Jens Jensen Park and discuss Jensen’s working relationship with Frank Lloyd Wright. Plan for 4 hours, as we’ll stroll through several of his sites.
