Attention drivers.
For the preview rides this weekend, unless you are a Wilmette resident with a parking pass, you will be charged (a lot) to park during the day in the Gillson Beach parking area. If you’re driving, I suggest you park either in the usual Metra lot across from Panera, or on one of the side streets west of Sheridan Road if there’s a legal unoccupied space, and bike a few minutes over to the Lakeview Center.
For the rides that start very early, the Lakeview Center will not be open. So the Panera bathrooms could be a good alternative if you are coming from some distance to Wilmette.
