The Skokie Park District leases and maintains the land that includes a stretch of the North Shore Channel Trail between Emerson and Howard, part of a route the EBC uses regularly. It’ll be interesting to see if/how they enforce a ban on e-bikes
there.
The park district also is proposing a $53 million bond referendum to build two new parks, one of which would be along the east side of the North Shore Channel between Oakton and Howard and would include a biking/walking path. But apparently not
for e-bikes…
