Let’s meet at Busse Woods Elk Pasture entrance, located on N Arlington Heights Rd, between the Kennedy Expressway (I-90) and Higgins Rd (IL-72). We can take a look at the elk and then we will ride around the loop twice. The weather looks like it will get into the low 80’s. We should see some fall color.
Then, we can go across the street to the new Tensuke Japanese Market and Food Court. They have a full dine-in menu as well grab-n-go entrees. They have a huge selection of sushi and sandwiches.
If you want a sweet treat afterwards, we can go next door to Jarosch Bakery. I’m sure they will have some pumpkin donuts for us to try.
If this isn’t enough for one day, we can walk across the parking lot to check out 7 Mike Cycles in their new location. This is a full service bike shop with a wide variety of bikes.
