Saturday Moderate Ride – Remote Start: Buffalo Creek Forest Preserve – October 17^th – 9:00 AM

This Saturday I will lead a moderate 50-mile ride starting at the Buffalo Creek Forest Preserve (18163 Checker Road, Long Grove, IL) and going to East Dundee on mostly quiet roads and the scenic Fox River Trail. We'll lunch at Benedicts Eggs and More in East Dundee and then return to the Forest Preserve by way of Barrington. There will be some hills on this route, but we will regather after each climb so no one has to fear being left behind. There is also a long flat section along the scenic Fox River. We will ride at a 13 to 15 mph pace on the flats, faster than this on the downhills, and much slower on the climbs.
