Ryerson bike and Hike 40 miles moderate

This Sunday looks to be a lovely Autumn day, a great day for biking on routes with lots of trees and colors. It looks to be a great day to take a little walk in the woods. We will do both. As such, I will ride my hybrid with hiking boots. The riding will be at the low send of Moderate. I have modified the route to avoid the construction at Wilmette and Ridge. We will go north up the Green bay Trail through Glencoe and then west on Lake Cook to the Bunny Trail. We will then be on the same route we always take to get us to Ryerson. We will take a walk in the woods that will be as long or short as the group is in a mood to take. On the way back we will dine at Once Upon a Grill and then begin the same route home. However, rather than going south into the Glen we will continue east through Northbrook and take Walters across Waukegan to ride on Lee and Grant making our way to Happ Rd. and then Kenilworth to go east to Green Bay Rd. 39.1 miles of riding, a mile or so of walking, plenty of colors and then some deli for lunch. Come join us. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/57625603?via=u5VvUvMqmYOYC5nu9xrzyg
