Tuesday Moderate Ride – May 30th – 9;00 AM – Panera
If things go according to plan, I’m going to ride a century on Memorial Day, and expect to have a strong preference for a short, simple, and not physically demanding ride on Tuesday. I’m planning a loop to Max’s Deli, by way of Fort Sheridan. Here is a link to the route in my library that I will be using: Bike Route Planner - Ride with GPS. The total distance will be a tad more than 30 miles. I will ride at a moderate (13 – 15 mph) pace. With enough interest there will be a second slightly faster group led by Will.
The weather for Tuesday looks great – mostly sunny with a high temperature of 78 degrees and almost no chance of rain. The wind will be out of the ENE at 5 to 10 mph. If the actual weather should be vastly different from this forecast making it prudent to cancel the ride, I will post a notice to the listserv before 8:00 AM on the morning of the ride.
